Unlocking a Non-Invasive Dimension for Cybersecurity of DERs

Increased cyber intrusions across the globe have prioritized cybersecurity enhancements for DERs. To this end, one of the prominent underlying cybersecurity design challenges for DERs is that the cybersecurity solutions require critical data and system information simultaneously from network or power grid operators, which is not always easy to obtain from a vendor’s perspective. This becomes a big design problem without any validation mechanism to justify its accuracy under evolving landscape of cyber-attacks. In this webinar, we will highlight new physics-aware, non-invasive cybersecurity technologies for DER networks that provides a unified safeguard capability against multiple cyber-attacks. Not only does it ensure a resource-efficient design perspective but it also easy customization for different DERs.
