Sunspec cybersecurity certification: 30 day comment period ends july 11th.

The Phase 1 SunSpec Cybersecurity Device Certification Specifications are now ready for broad review and comment. This comment period will conclude on July 11th at which time the work group will convene to begin resolving comments. Specifications up for review include the following:

  • SunSpec Cybersecurity Device Certification Profile
  • SunSpec Cybersecurity Certification Requirements – Phase 1
  • SunSpec Cybersecurity Certification Test Suite – Phase 1

These documents are currently in TEST status and are in the final review period before they are locked down and marked as APPROVED. These documents are available for download and comment on the public specifications page as well as in the private member only portal.

The goal is to collect all final comments by July 11th, 2023 so please download the documents, review and enter your comments. To participate in the comment resolution process members of the Alliance can enroll in the Device Cybersecurity work group in the SunSpec Member portal, contact membership@sunspec.org if you require assistance getting enrolled!
