REGISTER TODAY: Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Management with IEEE 2030.5™ – November 1st

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event attended by over 100 industry stakeholders, the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) invites you to attend this year’s DER Management with IEEE 2030.5 Symposium and Exhibition. Stakeholders in the utilities industry should plan to attend.

Highlights include:

  • The significant advances and recent developments in IEEE2030.5™-2013, IEEE Adoption of Smart Energy Profile 2.0 Application Protocol Standard to help enable Distributed Energy Resources (DER) integration.
  • Recent California PUC positions on use of IEEE2030.5-2013 communications in DER integration projects. Industry experts from the standards community, device manufacturers and utilities will provide first-hand information on industry approaches and readiness.
  • Best practices for interconnect projects to the utility grid

IEEE 2030.5™ Developer’s Workshop

Attendees should also consider attending the optional Developer’s Workshop where participants will become familiar with IEEE 2030.5 specifications, technology, development and test tools, as well as how to conduct conformance and interoperability tests on IEEE 2030.5 products.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Symposium and Expo planning committee (that includes California utilities and DER experts) welcomes sponsors for the event, and the opportunity for vendors to exhibit their products with IEEE 2030.5 gateways, clients or servers.

A portion of the afternoon agenda will be dedicated to vendor product introductions and exhibition, with exhibits also open to attendees during a post-event reception.

For additional details and to secure a sponsorship, please contact Rudi Schubert or James Mater.
