Sandia National Laboratories Joins the SunSpec Alliance
January 6, 2014. Sandia National Laboratories recently became a member of the SunSpec Alliance. Sandia is the nation’s premier science and engineering laboratory for national security and technology innovation. Sandia’s work on energy, climate, and infrastructure security is a fantastic addition to the Alliance’s efforts to accelerate the growth of the distributed energy industry. The SunSpec team looks forward to working with Sandia on inverter interoperability, control and security initiatives.
