See You in Salt Lake City for Solar Power International 2019

It is that time of year again. During the week of September 23 to 26, the U.S. solar and energy storage industry is coming together for Solar Power International 2019. SunSpec Alliance will be there in force with a full agenda:

• On Monday, September 23 SunSpec will be participating in a Department of Energy pre-conference workshop on the Orange Button standard and other U.S. Department of Energy solar related data initiatives
• On Tuesday and Wednesday we’ll be presenting in the Technical Symposium on two topics: 1) a presentation on interconnection-related communication protocols (i.e.IEEE 2030.5, IEEE 1815, and SunSpec Modbus) and cybersecurity considerations and 2) a presentation and demo of our Orange Button-compatible SunSpec Certification Registry
• Also on Tuesday and Wednesday, we’ll be making a poster presentation of a SunSpec-lec California Energy Commission project that demonstrated that 100% DER penetration is feasible with Smart Inverters
• Throughout the week, we’ll be running on on-the-show-floor SunSpec Certified branding and photo op with 40+ member companies involved in the SunSpec Rapid Shutdown and SunSpec IEEE 2030.5/CSIP certification program
