What are certificates, and what do they do? What is the process for gaining SunSpec certification and obtaining certificates? What is an Authorized Test Laboratory (ATL) and how to they relate to the security trust chain?

In addition, we’ll go through some of the aspects of the current IEEE 2030.5 specification, what it’s seeking to achieve, and how we can continue to work toward improving it.

Attendees of this webinar will get answers to the following questions

  • How do I get SunSpec certified? Why is this important for the DER industry? How does it help the industry meet state and national standard mandates?
  • How do I get a SunSpec digital certificate?
  • What do the certificates attest to, and how are they used?
  • What is IEEE 2030.5, and how does it relate to SunSpec?
  • What are the benefits of IEEE 2030.5, and what can we do to continue to refine and improve the standards?
