Wivity joins the SunSpec Alliance as a contributing member to simplify Rule 21 Phase 2 compliance – SunSpec Alliance

June 14, 2018

Wivity Inc. has joined the SunSpec Alliance as a contributing member.  Wivity will adapt its Trusted Communication Module and Security-as-a-Service solutions to enable quick compliance with CA Rule 21 Phase 2 cybersecurity requirements.

The Trusted Communication Module (TCM) combines communication modules with security algorithms and credentials to enable the implementation of standards-based security with just one line of code.  Current TCM offerings from partner hardware vendors already support IEEE 2030.5 (TLS 1.2 with mutual authentication) and are available for trial now.

Wivity brings a wealth of experience in industry standards and cybersecurity to the alliance and will remain active participants in SunSpec’s cybersecurity initiatives.  For more information on Wivity’s SunSpec participation and its compliance solutions read their blog post: https://www.wivity.com/blog/joining-sunspec/. You can also visit their booth at Intersolar in July.
